will they be good to feed two small red bellied fire newts?
im very new at this just got my tank set up a few days ago. At the store they were on frozen blood worms but i noticed they were not really eating them, but thats what i am feeding them aswell now and still the same. But i no of another store who sells live brine shrimp so will they be better ?
Also how many would i have to give and how many times a week?
cheers
mike

Yes, they are appropriate food for newts. Do you have a pet shop that sells live adult brine shrimp? That's about the only way to get hold of them.

A better alternative would be chopped earthworms.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
