So then except for the sand I think im almost there.

I have been told pool filter sand is ok, is it? its a cool white colour and I can get some im getting tired of waiting for the golden sand.

They access behind and through the tree stump on the right of the photos and around the rock on the left of the photo which is an amythest and crystal rock looks cool with the right light on it.

It looks cool when there is one axie in each tunnel and they climb on top of the tunnels and hide in the plants.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
