I would like to share some pictures of my new born axies.
I'll show you the mother, the larva in the beginning en the larva right now.
They are all leucistic with black spots on the face but the father is red eye albino.

Pretty axies. You may notice the babies get more 'freckles' as they get bigger.

Great pictures, I have always been in love with leutistice with frekles, though I have never seen one in real life.I like to refer to them as having a "dirty face" or "playing in the mud".Thanks for sharing. cure mother. Goodluck raising those babies!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
