i'm raising 3 c. orientalis larvae and i have some questions. what are the best signs to look for to know when they will morph? will they climb out of the water on their own when they are ready? i have the water level at an inch and a half. should i lower it to make it easier for them to climb out of the water?
and do you guys think it would be ok to take them to college with me at the end of august? my mom took care of my adults last year and she will again this year, but i don't think she could handle the little ones. especially if they morphed while i was away. i would be devastated if anything happened to them. my roommate won't be a problem, but i'm worried about moving the larvae. and i also wouldn't know what to do if i came home on weekends or during the short breaks. if anyone has experience with this or any input i could use the help.
