i got 5 axies(4 wild & 1 wild). it's been really weird recently. each one has some feelers sticked on its head, body, leg or around the gills. and they seldom eat since then. i even put some sault(no iodine), try to get rid of unknown "pioson" but nothing changed. jesus. btw i have my 5 axies in a 40*30 tank with a pump connected with a biochemistrical sponge.
i think personally the water, temperature and oxygen is ok cos it's the same with other 2 whites, who're rather healthy.
WHOEVER KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS OR MET THIS BEFORE PLEASE HELP MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE

Go to Google Images and search for "anchor worm". Does that look like it? If so, I think you will need something stronger than a little salt to get rid of them.

i think it's more like anchor worm
but i don't see the "bloody spot"
what can i use to deal with it? dimillin or program is ok?
what else, what's the detail i can do with it?
thank god.
btw the "worm" is dark green.
more obvious with the white axie

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
