Has anyone noticed the eyes of captive mudpuppies to get clouded over the longer they're in captivity? It reminds me of a fungal condition, though it doesnt look fuzzy, or lipid keratopathy seen in frogs, though I don't think I've ever seen that in a salamander. It seems to be external on the cornea, not internal like cataracts. The mudpuppies are healthy otherwise and have lived like this for years.
Any ideas?
