I`m over the moon and very shocked that my lovely `spyke` has laid eggs...
this was not expected at all and i suspect that she is a little over a year old... also the proud dad `fluffy` i suspect is the same age... both are wild types... their other tank mate is a female albino `queeny`
however they are here now and i must decide very quickly what to do..
they were laid on saturday ...
sunday i decided to remove the eggs and place them in their own tank..
i suspect i have at least 100 eggs that are growing rapidly and as of yesterday they look more like comma`s instead of full stops
i`ve read quiet a bit and decided that i am going to attempt to use daphnia an microworms
i`m fortunate i have the time for this suprise, but would like any advice anyone would see fit to tell me as i have only had my axi`s for about 6 months... and have never dealt with eggs before ..
i believe i still have a window to post some eggs out if someone wants some..
if you can`t reach me here, mail me at angelwitch247@hotmail.com
