Leucistic ribbed newt

can anyone tell me if they think this is a leucistic ribbed newt, looks totaly different to my outher ribbed newts.

I dont think so, the ribbed newts I've seen(particularly captive bred) can vary a great deal in colour from a very pale silver to almost black. Thats a gorgeous looking specimen you have there though, cute!
I was under the impression that Leucism affected all the pigment producing cells over an area of the body, so I would guess a leucistic individual would have lighter spots/patterning as well?
