Can someone help!!!

well my axie is about 5 months old. she has been eating fine but recently ive noticed a lump under her stomach i dont no what to do. Ive got quite big stones in her tank so i dont think she has swallowed any but im not to sure... shall i put her in the fridge? if so how do i do it????

That's a lump for sure, but it's hard to say what it is. It could be a rock. Could be a tumor or some other kind of growth or internal problem.

To refrigerate, put the axie in a container in the fridge. Also keep a jug of clean water in the fridge, so you can do daily total water changes with water of the same temperature.

Let us know what happens.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
