Hi everyone

I got my new tank set up last night, hope you like it.

There isn't an axie in it at the moment as he's still languishing in the fridge trying to poop :( so it's currently home to a family of guppies

The slate structure has created a lot of hidey holes and tunnels and the plants are plastic to avoid light conflictions.

comments and suggestions good or bad will be gratefully recieved

by the way, if you look really carefully you can see the reflection of my 5 yr old who flatly refused to get out of the way

Hi ali000,

Your tank is looking good

The only thing that could cause some trouble in the future is noise/vibration from the television. Excessive noise/vibrations could stress your axolotl.

Hi ali000
Nice tank.
Just turn the TV off and watch the axolotl , its probably more entertaining.

Hi Ali, I think it looks great.

Like others have said, the TV may bother them if its up too high.
Obviously you have to watch water doesnt get splashed onto it as well.
But I'm sure you will be careful.
I hope you enjoy your new friend and I'm sure your 5 year old will too :D

Thanks everyone,

as for the telly, I'll keep an eye on whether it affects them, it's (usually) off all day, and in fact rarely on in the evening..... not too sure why we've got one actually
