Is this fungus?

Ok Im worried... I just noticed on my gold baby that there are white spots it seems.

They were not there last night or yesterday when they got here.

Is it possible for this to happen so fast?

And how do you do a salt bath if it is fungus.

I checked my water and ammonia and nitrate are all 0

Guess I am a little paranoid being a first time mom and all.

I dont notice any fluffy stuff, but my white one has them too. They do look like "markings" just surprised they would get them over night.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
