Ok well ive had my 4 CFB newts for just under a year now, and i did not no the sex, however the guy at the aquatic store said he thaught they we all male, well despite regular tank water changes and feeding i failed to notice eggs!!!, while feeding the newts a month or so ago i saw 2 babies swimming around!!!
I immediatly came onto here to see how to deal with this situation.
I tried to catch the little newts to put them into a seperate house but it was like tryin to catch an ant in a haystack!!! so i decided to let nature take its course, i do feed the big newts a mixture of frozen bloodworm and live daphnea so they have had plenty of food, anyway miricle of miricles they have survived! and are growing, i have only seen 2 but who knows how many are in there!!
my question is do they lay eggs all year round??
