i need some fod for my babies:bowl:like dalphania .microworm .brine shrimp and where can you get java moss

You can get a pretty good deal for brine shrimp eggs off ebay but I personally found it hard to obtain ze eggs from petshops

Not sure how appropriate frozen food is for babies but you can get frozen cubes of daphnia and brine shrimp from most aquariums. However, I have heard that live is better though so that might not be that useful for you... Brine shrimp also goes under the name 'sea monkeys' too so you could ask the petstores if they have them?

I agree with Sarah. You should be feeding axolotl larvae live food because they will not take dead food.

Jay.

I've seen sea monkeys in cityfarmers, and target in Perth. But there's probably a cheaper, more economical way of buying them when you're going to need a lot.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
