Could I put 2 CFBN in a exo terra terrarium, the smallest one, 12x12x12.

These are not meant for aquatic amphibians (the only amphibians they're really suitable for are tree frogs). You need a nice traditional aquarium.

hi,
As John rightly said, these tanks shown are only meant to be used for tree-frogs or other terrestrial herps. So no not even one CFBN would be Ok in there. Instead have a look at aquarium shops in your area or online to find a suitable traditional aquarium.

Those are really nice tanks so you should get a tree frog and put him in it!But you can buy a 10 gallon tank at wal-mart or petco or petsmart for around $10 so its not to expensive for a nice home:DGood luck!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
