How many Cynops Orientalis can fit in a 10gal?

Hi! The floorspace of my tank is 15"x8". How many Cynops Orientalis can I keep (aquatic)

My LFS had a great deal for the juveniles - $1 for one and $5 for 6!
 
How tall is the tank? 15x8" is more like the size of a 5-gallon tank. But it could be a "10 tall" perhaps. I would say you could keep about 2 or 3 adult orientalis in a tank that size.
 
The tank is 7" tall.

I guess I'll have to miss out on this deal then D:

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
