I finnally introduce myself in the forum...
My name is Bernardo, I'm from Florence and i love to keep and study amphibians since I was a little little child,
now I'm 22 and my passion is bigger and stronger. I'm sure that I want to dedicate my all life to save amphibians from extiction and I'm doing my first steps in this way, even if it's very difficult here in Italy....
My favorite species of caudata are:
Triturus marmoratus and Salamandra salmandra in first place; next, Ommatotriton ophryticus, Tylotriton shanjing, Pseudotriton ruber.....but I love all species of amphibians as well!
For the moment I hope you will enjoy the gallery I posted in september: Appennino tosco emiliano: there are some photos of Salamandrina perspicillata, Salamandra salamandra gigliolii and Speleomantes italicus...

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
