Hi, just got my fire bellies yesterday and i got some live blood worms to feed them. I have gravel all along teh bottom of the tank, so my question is when i put the worms in teh water, wouldnt alot of them jsut dig into the gravel? If they do, would that make the water filthy? How do I go about cleaning the gravela nd how often.

The easy answer is do not use gravel. It makes cleaning very simple.

or do as I do in all my set ups and put in some sort of feeding bowl for the newts, they very quickly get used to feeding only from the bowl, and it stops waste food ending up all over your tank

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
