I was wondering if there are any native species (newts) in east Texas? If so what are they, and where is a good place to look? Im tryn do a research paper for school. thanks guys

Black -spotted Newt(Notophthalmus meridionalis) extreme south texas into mexico and Eastern Newts (Notophthalmus viridesens louisianenisis) east texas
