Hello!
I am new here in the forum, My name is Pedro Oliveira and now the time to visit, not just the forum, but also the site.
I am port anuguese and I love Herpetology.

But my passion are caudata ... my first was an amphibious tylototriton shanjing and now stand as some cautatas: paramesotriton hongkongensis, cynops orientalis s. salamander sp. Triturus boscai and perhaps future t. marmoratus.

Caudata My favorites are the t. marmoratus, t. and c. carnifex cyanurus''''yunanensis.
The speech you have long, I would say only that the forum is very well done, and I hope to have you, I'm here to be helped, but also to help!

Greetings.

Excuse my poor English, if not understand something, ask me to explain!

Pedro, welcome to the forum!

You have a nice collection of salamanders. I hope you learn some from us, and I hope we can learn some from you!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
