This year I am going to try to breed my tigers indoors. My garage has a dirt floor and the temps do not get to freezing in there. I have placed a 4 foot "kiddie" pool in there and am going to create an "indoor pond". I will post info in the spring.

Sounds like a good idea with decent potential. I've inquired about breeding them in similar captive conditions in outdoor enclosures with an artificial water body, but I've never taken the time to construct one.

Not much is needed to breed them outdoors. We use very small ponds and the hardest part is keeping out predators. Ponds as small as 3 foot across will work. Then the larvae need to be placed into rearing bins.

What if your tigers complete metamorphosis in the meantime?
