I've been caring for an 1 1/2" Axolotl for a few weeks now.
My friend on this forum happen to be an ex-coworker of mine.
I have a baby Axolotl and just got 2 more from her that are 3" and 4 1/2" long.
Let's see if this works. First picture is of my small guy.
A piece of food fell on its head and thought it looked hilarious.

This second one is of the bigger Axolotls I just got yesterday. :D

So far, the tank they're in is a bare bottom. I don't know if I'll add any sand later.
No heater... established tank... and a filter running.
I took out some water so the filter's water really agitates the surface.
I think I'll be fine. lol
Aside from my new Axolotls I have a 70 gallon freshwater tank with 2 big Discus, Angelfish, Congo Tetras, Rainbows, and Jurupari.
I also have a 29 gallon saltwater tank with a Cardinal, shrimp, and Purple Firefish.
2 Chihuahuas, 1 Mini Dachshund, a mix cat, a female rat, 3 Betta fish, African Gray Parrot, and 3' all around cage with Finches.
 Whoa! I know! lol

Any who, glad to be in this community!!

Welcome to the forum!

Those are some gorgeous axies! You'll soon find how axolotl-obsessed some people here can be!;)
