I'm looking to get lighting for my tank, and i was wondering what the best choice is,
I've heard that flourescent tubes work?

iv also been looking at LED lights, but what would be the best light that wouldnt disturb my little dudes.

I swear by standard T8 florescent, myself. This is my main lighting source in my critter dungeon. I switched to these from a mix of aquarium and plant florescents. They are suspended from the ceiling so that they are at a height of about half a meter above the tanks. It took me a bit of experimentation to get the height correct.

I also use the standard freshwater aquaria florescents in my planted tanks.
