I am desperately searching for these articles from Reptiles Magazine. I was able to purchase one of the issues on e-bay for 99 cents, but the pages I needed were missing!

If anyone has these articles (or issues) please contact me via PM as soon as possible.

(What has happened is that I referenced an article that was plagiarized from the old living underworld.org I found an archive copy of that page, but I need to verify the references for myself. I do not want to be one of those "exponential plagiarists" that is so common on the web!)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
