Hi all,

What a great website! I am surprised I haven't signed up sooner!

I'm surprised too! What took you so long?! lol

Welcome to the Forum! ;)

Thank you :) Procrastinating as usual is my only defense.

Just out of curiosity I can't seem to be able to access areas of the website that require registration despite now being registered. :( Can anyone enlighten me?

How long ago did you register? I think, if I remember right, you have to get a confirmation link in your email and then respond to that before your registration is complete.

I registered a week or so ago  Just a little slow to introduce myself :)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
