I agree - lots of plants: live and artificial worked well for my female. Some people use egg strips - you can find information at Caudata Culture. Mine laid over 60 eggs and I hatched them all. If you want to do this, I'd remove the eggs as she lays them or she will eat them. It also prevents her from eating the young larvae. You'll need to do water changes pretty frequently for the eggs and especially once they begin to hatch. I also had multiple containers set up so the larvae were all about the same size, again, to avoid predation of larger larvae. Get your tiny live foods going once you see development in the eggs - live Daphnia, BBS, etc. I also mixed with frozen mixtures of the same.
