I have an orange Clivia plant with a bunch of ripe seed pods. I have to many Clivia seedlings. If you want a seed pod and are in the U.S. let me know and I'll send you one. I used to call them something other than Clivia and found out it is a racist slur. I used to pronounce Clivia with a short i. I found out they were named after a guy named Clive of Arabia. Now I use a long I. .......

These are used as house plants in the north. They are not terrarium or aquarium plants. If you want to sprout some orange Clivia seeds and are in the U.S. send me an email with your address. They are free. shrommj@ptd.net

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
