I have three sallies that I have had for about....three weeks? I guess. They're lovely little buggers and have been eating well.
But anyways- so there is the big boy, the medium boy, and the little boy.
Problem is Mr. Medium boy has several colorations the big and little boy don't have.
Here's the info I won't babble any longer.

A- yellowish coloring, spots/ strips of sorts. 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inch long, four toes on front legs and as far as I can tell four on the back aswell.
B- More speckled than either of the the others, pattern/ colouring much more apparent. about 1 1/4 inch long, toes appear shorter than A or C's toes.
C- coloring like A except for markings being lighter. 1/2 to 3/4 inch long, toes appear longer like A's.

All were collected in a slow moving stream about a 1/4 mile from it dumping off into the shenandoah river.

I think I remembered everything.... and the pictures are on the way.

Any help in identifying my little stinkers will be greatly appreciated.

I've come to the conclusion that One or more is Eurycea wilderae but I'm not sure which ones or even if any.

Thanks guys:)

all these attached pics are the Big boy aka 'A'

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
