I've got just over 100 eggs laid on about 1st january from my 2 leucistics. I want to raise as many as possible but obviously not all of them. I'd rather not euthanise them so if anyone can get to kent I'd be happy to give some away.

Its good to see that you are trying to do the right thing.

I don't mean to sound like a prick (if it seems that way), but if you don't what all those eggs, why keep a male and female together?

When I bought them I was new to axles and didn't know how to sex them. I don't have the space to keep the adults in 2 separate tanks and they seem happy together. I do want to raise the eggs though so I'm glad it's happened, and I've done lots of reading about it, it's just there's a few too many for me!

I hear the adults will eat the eggs if you leave them in, so only take out the amount you want to keep/give away!
