Fat tiger salamander?

Hi there, i'm new here

i've had my tiger sally, Mohko, for about half a year or more now. she was on my doorstep one late rainy night with maggots crawling on her so i took her in. she's happy and healthy now. she was pretty little when i found her (maybe freshly morphed?) so she's definitely grown since then. i know tiger sals are pretty stocky, but i'm just wondering if she's fat. i've got a few pictures:






i know she's definitely not obese compared to some pictures i've seen, i just want to make sure i'm feeding her an okay amount and everything since she's grown and that's all i really have to physically compare

i also had one more question - her water dish is turning green. i've tried soaking it and scrubbing it but it just stays green. it's just a typical kind of hard plastic rock-looking one from the petstore. i was wondering if that was from the dechlorinated water or the green moss or something. thanks!!

She looks lovely! That's just the right size for a tiger salamander.

What kind of dechlorinator do you use? If you use something like stress-coat with added aloe, that could be contributing to a high nitrogen concentration in your water, leading to algae. Have you tried rinsing it in 10% bleach? Also try giving it a good scrub with baking soda, which can help clean out little microscopic cracks.
