Hi all.
Its been a really long time since I've been on this forum.
3 years ago I stopped posting because I didnt have a computer at home and I left my work place to have a baby. Now 2 kids later and I just got a computer at home.yay.
At the mo I have 11 axies, 1 bearded dragon, pond and tropical fish, a bird, 3 cats, and a dog, they all keep me rather busy.

11 axies! I feel inadequate and should buy more immediately!

Welcome (back) although you were probably originally here before me, so that's kinda weird :)

Ps: where in NZ are you? Hope you and yours are safe and unaffected by the quake x

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
