Going away for 7 days

my wife and i have nobody who can come around and feed our guy while we're away. we're leaving tomorrow and he's had his fill of food for today. i'll feed him again tomorrow morning before we leave. would he be okay without any food for 7 days? or should i try to give him a little extra tonightand see if he'll take it before tomorrows feeding?
 
if he's fully grown, then he should be fine for a week
 
good, he's definitely full grown.
 
I wouldn't feed him before you leave. The more you feed him, the more he'll poop while you're gone.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
