Hi guys just some questions that's been on my head (very random) so i dunno wut section to ask:p
1. wut happens when a black melanoid breeds with an albino (wut kind of babies' ratio)
2. wut % will b gfp's if let's say the albino or the melanoid is a gfp or the % will b the same?
3. how do one id a melanoid when a juvie (when they still dont have full colours yet)
4. babie guppies ok for juvie axies? @_@ they so small can't really see if they nipping fins or not @_@
5. will melanoidXalbino occur that babies have some wildtypes or leucistics?

1. It depends. If the albino is melanoid, or recessive for melanoid, some of your offspring will be melanoid. If the albino is not a carrier of melanoid, none of your offspring will be melanoid.

2. If both the melanoid and the albino are GFP, all your offspring will also be GFP.

3. Look for the reflective eye-ring. Even in larvae without legs, melanoids lack the reflective eye-ring. Non-melanoids have a reflective eye-ring.

4. It depends. If you've raised the guppy fry yourself, and are positive they are free from disease, and are of the appropriate size for your larvae to eat, they should be fine in moderation.

5. It depends. It could happen, yes. It is all a matter of what genes are expressed/carried. If both parents are carriers of the leucistic gene, 25% of your offspring will be leucistic. If a melanoid mates with a non-melanoid albino who is not a carrier of melanoid, and the melanoid is not a carrier of albino, and neither is a carrier of leucistic, 100% of the offspring will be wildtype.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
