Does any one know how often i can safely handle my pet axolotl:happy:

you don't "handle" and axolotl. If you need to move it from one tank to another an aquarium net will work just fine. Don't pick it up with your hands

Axolotl skin is delicate, and can be easily injured by our hands. On top of that, unless you've REALLY washed your hands, and rinsed rinsed rinsed, your hands likely have contaminates on them that can be harmful to your axolotl.

Try not to touch your axi... period! These are not pets which are meant to be touched

And visa versa, theyhave stuff on them you don't wanna rub in your eyes :)

My vote is like the rest - don't handle them at all if you can avoid it, and if you have to, wash your hands thouroughly before and after

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
