hi one of my axie juvaniles has moss (maybe algae) on his hands and feet. he dosn't seem to be bothered by it and its not on his gills. he has been in a tank with moss and algae growing in it and the moss and algae in that tank is growing very quickly.

Hi Sam,

You mention that these are juveniles? Algae and moss can cause issues with juveniles. The algae can cause them to lose toes or even feet. In addition, I would worry about juveniles ingesting the moss and what that could do to them internally - don't know that it would be harmful, but why take the chance?

I would strongly advise to remove your juveniles from this tank immediately and keep them on a bare bottom until they are larger. Sub-adults and adults can handle moss and algae.
