Hi,
My name is Ryan.
I am 15.
I am Australian.
Specifically from the eastern suburbs of Victoria.
Some activities i enjoy are longboarding, snowboarding, swimming, playing guitar and drums and kite surfing.

I like piercings and tattoos
I like body modification
I enjoy watching scary movies

I like to think of myself as a friendly approchable person

Im very new to all this newt and salamander stuff although ive been interested in it for years.
i do not own any type of newt or salamander since i have no idea where to begin

i do have a fish tank and alot of spare glass as i used to keep goldfish

i need some help choosing a first salamander/ newt
preferably something not high maintenance and fairly hardy to weather conditions
i do have a water heater so i am able to house something tropical
but it is autumn at the moment so its getting colder

my house is usually about 22 degrees Celsius

any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum, Ryan.

Unfortunately, being a resident of Australia, the only type of salamander you can legally own is an Axolotl. You can read more about them here.
