Hello! I am a brand new axie owner of a little leucistic named Hooper and a melanoid named Quint. Right now, they're in a tank that's too little for them but in August I have a 55 gallon waiting for them. Well, they've been getting along great, no nipping or anything, for the past couple weeks. However, I had to go out of town for a wedding for ONE night, so I thought they'd be okay. Well, I got back, and Quint is missing 1 toe, a chunk of tail, and several parts of gills. I'm guessing that Hooper nipped him None of the wounds are red or fungus-y, and things look like they're already starting to grow back pretty nicely. I'm not too worried, but should I put him in the fridge just in case? I don't want him to get infected. It's not possible for me to set up another tank right now, so do you think it's okay to still keep them together until August? There hasn't been any aggression up until now, so maybe Hooper was just hungry while I was away? Thanks for any help I've only had them about 3 weeks.
