Question: How will I know when my brineshrimp have hatched?

my friend had loads of them in those toy tanks as pets. we used a magnifne glass agenst the glass to see if anything really small was moving and we saw the babies.

Baby brine shrimp are a pinky/whitey/orangey colour. You can see them without a magnifying glass, the easiest way is to shine a torch, it will make them more obvious, and attract them to all accumulate near the source of the light (which also makes it easier to suck them up).

It's a common experience to get brine shrimp eggs that don't hatch (because they are too old or weren't stored properly). If you see no change after 48 hours, consider this a possibility.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
