Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows the latin name for Java Moss, as I cant seem to find it anywhere. Pets at home, have different plants but all with latin names, and if you search on ebay, the sellers use java moss as a tag word, but dont actually sell it. As a horticulturist I maybe should know, but I dont deal with pond or aqua plants, so this is new to me. I am planning a java moss wall for the back of my tank and need the correct plant to start it off. Thanks. ;)

Hi, I think its Vesicularia Dubyana.
Be carefull not to flush any along with the water or it's probably going to redecorate the English channel in no time :-D

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
