I've had two axies for about 6months now, they're in a 3foot tank which has regular water changes...
Until now they've got a long perfectly but this morning I woke up to find my wild type female with a bone for an arm, there's no other way this could of happened in the tank apart from if the the White male attacked her. I'm not sure why he'd do so as they were fed yesterday so it wasn't as he was hungry.
This has left me a bit confused as to what to do?
Do I need to treat her with anything? Her other arm is also bleeding at the toes...
I dont have another tank, is there anyway to divide the tank?
At the moment I have the tank light on which the male hides In the shade from to keep them separated.
Thanks in advance for any help.
