Hi

I am a 34 year old dane, been keping and breeding, reptiles, amphibians and fish(killis and apisogrammas)

I kept P. walt and breed them some times, but its the kinda "I do not have room for too many babies".

I also have 6 Tiger Waterdogs, well 5 of them will make in the long run, last one is a runt and well poor animals does not make good breeders. The the Tigers are F1 from Chicago illinois.

In the future I am looking in to new tigers and some of the EU- species.

Big welcome, Kaspar!

I hope you enjoy the forum as much as we do. ^_^

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
