Hello there newt fanatics.

I really hope someone comes along that can help me.

I'm looking for 2 clear pictures of axolotl.

1 Adult Piebald
1 Adult Harlequin

I'm very interrested in the difference between these two.
So if someone has pictures of these adult mutants it would be very much appreciated if you could share a link or post them in this thread :)

I thought the one on the right of your picture was called harlequin?
And piebald is (atleast i thought it is) mostly dark or wild with very bright pink gills?

However I could be mistaken as well... thats why I opened this discussion :p

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
