Hello everyone,
I've been checking out the forums now for a couple of weeks, figured its about time I said "hi". I currently have one Ambystoma tigrinum melanostictum or blotched tiger salamander. My daughters caught her from a stream in a ravine here within the city limits while she was still in larval form. This didn't last long however and she is now in her terrestrial form and eating very well. A few pics have been uploaded for those interested.
I have had a tiger salamander before when I was younger but would like to say thank you for having such a great resource here. I have been learning quite a bit and I keep stopping by to learn more!
