Dry food for Axolotl.

Does anyone know the nutritional values i should be looking for in a dry food. :confused:
 
I feed my adults axolotl pellets, sinking salmon pellets and worms, you should try the link below, they have plenty of info on feeding from larvae to adult :happy: helped me allot 2yrs ago when I first got my axies.

I just posted about this, but i've been using Hikari sinking carnivore pellets with good results.
I also feed fish and worms as well.
 
Thanks for the the link I've been feeding worms and blood worm was just look for variety I'll try and find that brand in the UK.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
