i cant remember if i introduced myself a while back when i signed up so if im doubling up my apologies. I am a keen axolotl breeder from western australia. I would upload photos but each time i try it tells me my upload has failed. I want to share pics of my beautiful babies. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. I love this website, if i didnt have it i would not have had so many baby axolotls survive so a big thankyou to all the contributors

if you can't upload through the site then I would upload your pictures to a host like photobucket, etc and then you can just put this html code in when you're posting.

[ IMG ] image url [ / IMG ] with no spaces in any of it.
This should work just fine.

I'd like to see what you have set up for breeding. :)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
