What colour would you say Po is?

Hey everyone, i was just wondering what colour you would call Po? Because im not too sure...he doesnt have any spots, and he does look lighter than whats in the picture, i would say grey, but i didnt know whether that was a proper colour :) i just wouldnt call him a wild type, like the bigger one on the other picture.....any ideas would be grately appreciated!! :)

Yes, it looks like Po is probably melanoid to me too. Does he have a shiny ring around the pupil in his eyes? I don't see one in the photo, but photos aren't so reliable about that.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
