My axie Bil just ate a small piece of foil. I think it was stuck to his frozen blood worm cube. I tried to take the foil away from him, but he quickly swallowed it. What should I do?? Will it be able to come out in his poop? PLEASE give me info if any of you have any ideas on what to do.

If it was only small it will pass through but it could cut him if the edges were sharp. One of mine has eaten it before and been OK but they are very soft so like I said, it could cut him. I put mine in the fridge when it happened so that it passed out quicker and I could monitor if any blood came out with it

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
