Please don't shoot me down for this question and I am sure all you experts will scream NO.
Can Alpine Newts live in harmony with Fire Bellied Newts as they seem very similar.

Not really...alpine females can be rather nasty. They are agressive eaters that don´t let go fast if they mistakenly bite someone´s leg. Other than aggression, i´d fear the orientalis may be outcompeted.
However, even if they cohabitated peacefully, there are other reasons why keeping them together is just not a good idea. The thing to remember is that they gain nothing from being kept together, nothing whatsoever, but they do become susceptible to certain risks. The only one that can possibly benefit is you, and personally i consider the benefit to be extremely trivial and certainly not worth it.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
