Currently in my Career Exploration class, we are supposed to be conducting 'informational interviews' with people who are in the field of work we are interested in.

I'm looking for someone who is an expert on newts and salamanders, etc and cares for them regularly. It doesn't have to be your job per se (although it would help), but I definitely want someone who knows their stuff!

Of course anyone can respond to this post, and I'll be extremely grateful if I get even just one person.

So here are the questions for the interview:
Please state your name and occupation!
A. Environment (if this is your job)
1. Describe your routine or duties you perform on a regular basis
2. How independent can you be on this job?
3. How much "outside" or overtime work is required on your job?
3a. What does this work involve?

B. Requirements and Experience
1. What types of tools or equipment, if any, are necessary to perform your job?
2. What personal qualities do you see as important for success?
3. What college courses were most helpful to you in your college preparation (if any)?
C. Benefits and Frustrations
1. What are major rewards of your job?
2. What are major frustrations you encounter on this job and how do you deal with them?

If you completed this, thank you so much for your time! :D

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
