My partner and a friend both desided to draw axies for me this week, my partners one is a gorgeous fun sketch and the other is a rough pic (without reference pics) of a tattoo idea, now he knows i like it he is redrawing it more accurately and will be finished in watercolour

They are both totally beautiful!! Love how they both look!! A tattoo of a axie would be adorable!! Cant wait to see more I wish i was that talented..;)

yea cant wate till its finished, i have a nice little spot in my sleeve for it

Hope to see some pictures then when you get round to the tattoo, been thinking of a tattoo too, just wish i was as good an artist as your partner and friend. My golden albino has awesome bright red gills and i'm sure they will look awesome as a tattoo. Love both the pictures but the one in the teacup, from a tattoo perspective, will look awesome finished and part of a sleeve.

yea im thinking of puting it in the ditch of my elbo

re drawn and painted

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
