Hi i am a school Biology technician at Blundells in Tiverton Devon,i am setting up a 5 foot aquarium to keep and at some point breed Axolotls.
I hope another British keeper can help supply us with up to 5 animals of different coulors,to stimulate the pupils interest plus enable discutions on genetics etc.
I myself have always been a fan of all aquatic life with 5 fully planted tanks at home plus 4 more at work,at the age of 8 years old i did keep and breed albino Axolotls i am 55 now so a long time ago !,
If any one can help please e mail me -apr@blundells.org
Many thanks.
P.s has any one used an electric fan across the water surface in an Axolotl tank to keep the temperature below 24 degrees as some marine fish keepers do,and did it work.
cheers
